I was born in 1956 in Massachusetts, I now live and study art in Manchester, New Hampshire. I'm currently seeking a Bachelor of Fine Art's degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. As a part-time senior (senior as in freshman, sophomore, junior... not senior in age....not quite yet anyway....almost) anyway, I feel like I've been taking classes forever. I'm also the Registrar for the New Hampshire Institute of art.

Freelance, I've done the artwork for coffee can designs, wedding announcements, baby announcements. I'm always taking commissions to draw portraits of people and pets, I have artwork in private and public collections, which include paintings, assemblages, collages, ACEOs, and I've illustrated a children's book for a private collector.

Currently I'm working on illustrations, many illustrations, many, many, many illustrations.....It's a lot of work, I love it, I'm a bit of an artwork-aholic. My focus is to license companies to produce and market my designs. Maybe that's a pipedream, but it's my pipedream and I'm going for it. "You go girl....who said that?"

When did I begin my art career? I started drawing right out of the womb. Well not really, but pretty close. I've been drawing portraits in graphite for a long time, and I pretty much continue to keep it figurative. Aside from my illustrations, most of my personal artwork can be a bit deceiving to the viewer. The paintings may seem to have a tranquil environment, but they can also be a bit unsettling. I like to explore the psychology with what seems to be a quiet moment, or how a whisper can be louder than a scream.
